The Marching Saints have been representing St. Francis High School in a positive way along their 2017 summer parade tour. The group has appeared in 10 parades to date and earned awards at competitive marching band events sponsored by the Tri-State Judges Association. The Marching Saints earned 3rd place awards at parade competitions in Princeton and Benson, 2nd place awards in Sartell, Fridley and Rogers and 1st place in Paynesville. At the Buffalo Parade Competition on Saturday, June 17th the Marching Saints finished in 2nd place and were recognized with the “Best Drumline” award among all 8 competing bands. The Marching Saints also made appearances at the St. Francis Pioneer Days Parade and the North Branch Midsummer Days Parade.
The Marching Saints would like to thank all of their hard working volunteers as they continue to keep students safe and well hydrated through the summer heat and busy parade schedule. Special thanks to ISD-15 Transportation staff and bus drivers for providing safe and sound transportation.
Upcoming parade performances include a 4th of July parade in Annandale starting at 10 AM and July 6th parade in Isanti starting at 6:30 PM.
