Saints News · Spring Sports/Activities Cancelled

St. Francis Area Schools Families:

On 4/23/2020 Governor Tim Walz decided to continue distance learning for school districts across the state of Minnesota through the end of this school year.  While we don’t have answers to many questions that result from this decision, we do know that the Minnesota State High School League is also making the decision to cancel spring sports/activities for member schools to include St. Francis High School. To view the message from the MSHSL, click here.

Currently, this affects all spring St. Francis programs and, as such, we will begin to issue full refunds for all students that have registered through the St. Francis Activities office for:

Track and Field
Girls Softball
Boys Tennis
Girls Golf
Boys Golf
Spring Musical
Marching Band

Each of these refunds must be entered manually, so we ask for your patience as we work through the process as quickly as possible.  Additionally, our registration system does not send an automatic notification that a refund has been processed/issued so please be sure to check your credit card transactions to document the refund.

Although we are deeply saddened that we are not able to work with our student-athletes this spring and represent St. Francis Area Schools, we are also very thankful for our student-athletes and their families and wish you continued health and safety as we move forward.  On behalf of our coaches, teachers, support staff, and administrators, WE MISS YOU and look forward to the next time we get to see you back in our schools!
