On Thursday night, the Fighting Saints hosted the North Branch Vikings in their youth night home meet. The JV team had their best night in a couple of seasons getting the win with a team score of 117.6 to the Vikings score of 107.75. With the help of some new additions to the team this year, they have been able to round out the JV team well. In all-around, Savanna Lanz took 1st place with a 28.85, followed by Kayla Reid in 2nd with a 28.05, and younger sister Quinn Reid in 3rd with a 27.45.

In combo all-around (girls who compete both JV and Varsity) Riley Lawin took 2nd place with a 30.9, Lia Mehregan took 3rd with a 30.125 and Emma Oman took 4th with a 29.8.

It was also youth night, and the stands were full of fans young and old. It was so nice to see so many people cheering on our gymnasts. The team passed out and signed posters after the meet.

The Saints next meet will be at HOME this Thursday January 16th at 6:30 pm as they host the Big Lake Hornets. Then they will be in River Falls, Wisconsin this Saturday the 18th at 11 AM at the Winter Wonderland Invite. Come out and cheer on your Fighting Saints Gymnastics team. Good luck ladies and as always GO SAINTS!
